Arrive by 9:15am
Bring 3L of milk (OPTIONAL: some eats are always welcome!)
Unpack the dishwasher if necessary
Lay out the following at both the kitchen hatch counters, and on the coffee counter at the back of the church:
Mugs (and tea cups at one kitchen hatch)
Teaspoons
Normal tea, Rooibos tea, coffee, and sugar
Milk jugs
Fill the airpot/thermos with boiling water from the kettle, and place at the back of the church
After the service:
From the back coffee counter move only the thermos, milk, and dirty mugs and spoons back to the kitchen (leave the tea, rooibos, coffee, sugar, clean mugs, and teaspoons on the back coffee counter)
Pack dishwasher with all dirty crockery and cutlery
Switch on the dishwasher (set dial to "Eco 50॰C")
Arrive by 9am
Welcome and greet people at the doors
Introduce yourself to newcomers, and write them a temporary name tag sticker
If they have young children with them, show them the mother’s room and explain that our Children’s Church runs in the evenings
Pass around the collection bags during the service to take up the offering (place the bags on the front table after collection)
Pass around the communion juice and bread on the first Sunday of each month
Arrive at 9am on Sunday mornings
Conduct mic tests
Balance all necessary mixer channels
Setup Zoom and Youtube Streaming
Arrive by 9:15am

NB... Keep microphone no more than a hand-width from your mouth. This is very important as the Sound Team can't do their work when you are further than this from the microphone.
NB... Project your voice loudly as though the back people had to hear you without a microphone. Leave the volume levels to the Sound Team to sort out.
Arrive by 9am
Collect the alarm remote from the key rack in the kitchen
Monitor the "Drop off lane" to ensure no one parks in the flow of the lane
Arrive by 4:30pm

Please have the tea and coffee ready to be served from the back of the church from 4:45pm (self-service)
Prepare food so that supper is ready to be served after the service
Lay out food on tables at back of the church (rolls, marge, ingredients & condiments etc)
After the service:
From the back coffee counter move only the thermos, filter coffee, milk, and dirty crockery and cutlery back to the kitchen
Leave the tea, rooibos, coffee, sugar, clean mugs, and teaspoons on the back coffee counter
Pack dishwasher with all dirty crockery and cutlery
Switch on the dishwasher (set dial to "Eco 50॰C")
Arrive by 4:30pm

Bring enough bread and grape juice for 80 people
Cut up bread and pour out grape juice into communion cups
Arrange 6 cups and 6 bread pieces per saucer
Place one saucer of communion supplies on each table
Place a saucer at each lounge suite, and at the sound desk
